The Legion expansion for WoW has me totally sucked back into the game. I have two Max Level characters . The Order Hall campaigns are fun and I love the lore they are tying into. The fact that rep can be achieved via daily quests ad story progression without the need to  grind tons of mobs is very nice.  I really like the profession progression quests as well. My only small peeve id that  profession progression dos heavily tied to dungeons and is some vases PvP. Also some of the story progression requires RAIDing. While I understand the  logic in this and the desire of Blizzard for  \players to experience the content they created, not everyone has the time or  interest to RAID or play PvP but may really enjoy experiencing the lore. Other than that the Artifacts and their  powers are really fun.  The story and lore are really interesting and the dungeons are pretty bite sized. Overall I’d say this is my fav expansion since  “Wraith of The Lich King”
New Work Laptop
I got a new (2015 Model) MacBookPro laptop at work. The thing flies compared to my old work laptop. I love having an Solid State Drive! Getting it setup for development was a snap since I’m pretty much doing IOS development these days. Some awesome dev tools I recommend:
- SwiftLint – Great tool to help enforce code formatting standards.
- Charles Web Proxy – Great tool for mocking and manipulating service responses in development.
- GitKraken – My fav Git GUI client. Great tools to streamline workflow and visualize merges.
- Meld – My fav visual diff tool.
- MAMP – Great simple tool to spin up LAMP stacks on your  local. (XAMP is good to )
And of course XCODE is pretty much the only IDE for Swift. The API documentation integration is a life saver. I’m so lucky to have a MAc as my dev machine at work!
Stranger Things
I watched the new Netflix series “Stranger Things”, ended up watching the first half of the season on Friday and finished it up Sunday,  just couldn’t stop watching. I really enjoyed the 80s nostalgia feel of it. The story unfolded  nicely  with  just enough info to advance the  plot  but  not spoon feed anything to you. It left  plenty of room for  your imagination to explore and theories to ponder.  Wynona Ryder and the main  kids in t he cast were brilliant! The pacing was great. I really  loved the show and can’t wait to see more!
World Of Warcraft: Legion BETA
I was lucky enough to get into the WOW Legion Beta and I’m really having fun so far. I’ve done the initial Artifact quest lines for my 2 Mages a Druid and a Demon Hunter I created. The quests lien was solo able but would of been much more fun with at least one friend to help out. I’ve gotten into the Order Hall for Mage, Druid and Demon Hunter. All three are different, fun and very lore appropriate. I really enjoyed the Druid Order Hall and quest line. The Demon Hunter class feels fun and unique if a little OP at times. The starting area and story are awesome.
BARA
I’ve recently really gotten into BARA, haven’t found any bara anime but have found a nice selection of art. There are some really talented artists on Patreon and Deviantart. Some artists I really like are:
Some awesome Bara games I really like:
Fallout 4
Been playing Fallout 4, awesome game! Totally sucked into it. I’m also a  modding addict so have been working on finding quality mods to use in my game.
My favorite mod resources are
- Nexus Fallout 4Â – Great place to mods
- Mod Organizer 2 (Beta)Â – Mod installation/management still in Beta
- LOOTÂ – Best tool for optimizing mod load order
Here are some of my fav mods so far: Wasteland Lumberjack for EVB, Robot Home Defence, Better Settlers, Don’t Call Me Settler.
Skyrim Legendary Edition
I recently bought the  new Skyrim Legendary edition bundle on Steam  it’s about the same  price as the game was at launch but  includes the three DLC expansions. Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Drgonborn. Previously I had  only played the base game on my xbox 360. The expsnisons add some pretty awesoem content! I love the house builfing from Heartfire and the Wearwolf and Vampire leveling abilities from Dawnguard.
One really awesome thing about  playing on on the PC is the community mods that are available. Everything from more  attractive followers to whole need content areas and  unofficial bug patched. A great site for finding mods is Skyrim Nexus https://skyrim.nexusmods.com that even have  a mod installer tool that works pretty slick! The only trick is you need to  make sure you get the  mod load order right or it will give you some frustrating bugs!
4 Column CSS layout
My work challenge for today is throwing together a nice 4 column fixed width layout using just css. I’ve found a pretty spiffy wiki article with a nice collection of CSS layout examples. CSS Layouts learning toward s using the float methodology. Plenty of 3 column layouts. But multi columns can get tricky. If I come up with anything brilliant I will happily post it!
Aion Online
I decided to give Aion online a try last week. Visually stunning game. The quest progression is fairly straightforward. It would be nice if their quest helper had a bit more location and progression information. I haven’t messed around with customizing the UI yet. I created a very handsome Elyosian priest hehe. His name is Azarius and he is on the west coast server if anyone wants to join forces!
